Turmeric Tea

Turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory, as is fresh ginger, which I also use in this tea. If you cannot find fresh turmeric, just shake some powdered spice into your tea. Be careful of the turmeric as it tends to stain.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Hot but not boiling, Water
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh Turmeric or ½ teaspoon dried Tumeric
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Add the hot water into a cup, followed by the honey, turmeric and ginger. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the cup, and enjoy!
